Gavin was originally owned by a homeless gentleman who brought him in to the
practice when he could no longer keep him. He came in one cold November
night. He was born in approximately 2005. Gavin has cerebellar dysplasia which
means that there are connections in his brain that do not work perfectly so he is
sometimes a bit unsteady on his feet, but we all love
him the way he is.
Gavin likes: sleeping in doorways, plenty of cuddles,
getting his own way.
He dislikes: plastic bags, loud noises, not getting
enough attention and going up and down stairs (he
prefers to be carried if possible). He finds dogs a bit
bemusing but is generally not scared of them and
his key skill includes purring for our clients. Gavin
has taken up writing as his new hobby. He is now a published author and has a
column once a month in local publication The Bridge.
